TIMBER ELEMENTS
Timber elements are a natural product and will be prone to a degree of surface splintering and cracking over time. Timber is easily maintained with surface coatings that not only retains the natural colour of the timber but minimises large structural cracks and splinters that can occur.
RUBBERISED SOFTFALL AREAS
Our aim is to ensure that the rubberised surface is safe, clean and its appearance is maintained.
High traffic areas create substantial wear and tear which leads to damage and areas which then don’t comply with Australian Safety Standards.
PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT
We recommend that the playground equipment undergoes regular inspections by a fully certified playground safety inspector at regular intervals.

We check slides for chips and cracks and the sliding surface is clear of obstructions. Check frames and all moving parts on swings to ensure smooth use. Chains and links are to be free of rust and corrosion with all bolts firmly secured. All fittings to be used must comply with the soft fall requirements.
Nets, swings and any rope elements are to be checked regularly for fraying or any other issues that may affect the nets integrity an safety.
SYNTHETIC TURF
To avoid the premature deterioration of the synthetic turfs appearance, performance characteristics and drainage properties, regular maintenance should be carried out by an experienced operator.
The synthetic turf should be clean and free of debris and other contaminants.
The sand infill must be evenly distributed throughout the synthetic turf area by the use of a power broom.
Ensure grooming is applied against the direction of the pile to allow the fibres to stand upright.
Check synthetic turf annually for adequate sand levels. If sand level has been depleted, top up in accordance with the manufacturers specifications.
